Note: McAfee Internet Security (MIS) users will have their software automatically updated to McAfee Multi Access.
If you have McAfee included as part of your AOL Plan:
1. Go to http://get.aol.com/mcafee.
2. Click Get Protected.
3. On McAfee's website, make sure PC is selected and click Download.
4. Click Agree and Download once you've read the License Agreement.
5. Make a copy of the serial number displayed on the page.
6. Wait for the file to be downloaded and then double-click it.
7. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.

How do I download and install McAfee on my Mac?
If you have McAfee included as part of your AOL Plan:
1. Go to https://get.aol.com/mcafee.
2. Click Get Protected.
3. On McAfee's website, make sure Mac is selected and click Download.
4. Click the checkbox under 'Read the McAfee License Agreement.'
5. On the Download Instructions window, click Download.
- Note: Copy or write down the serial number displayed on the page.
6. Wait for the file to downloaded and then click it to open it. (The file will most likely download to your Downloads folder.)
7. Double-click the 'McAfeeMacInstaller' to begin the installation process.
- Note: If you get a pop-up window saying 'McAfeeMacInstaller' is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?', click Open.
8. Enter your serial number and then click Next. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.
